Update: No criminal charges will be filed in this case.
While an investigation continues in an accident that killed a former Chillicothe woman last Saturday, officials have released details of the one-vehicle wreck in Caldwell County.
Tegan A. Edmundson, 24, of Hamilton, Mo., was killed last Saturday, July 31 in the wreck on Pleasant Ridge Road, about six miles southeast of Hamilton.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, the accident occurred when a 2003 Dodge 2500 Series pickup, driven by 25-year-old Bradley Corbin, was southbound on Pleasant Ridge Road. The report states that Edmundson, a passenger in the vehicle, jumped out of the passenger side door and was run over by the right rear tire of the pickup. The vehicle came to a rest in the roadway. Edmundson was found on the west side of the road.
