Three Chillicothe residents have been arrested and now face charges relating to the alleged distribution of marijuana.

On Friday, the Livingston County Sheriff’s office completed an investigation into alleged drug sales and distribution in the area. Part of the investigation included a search warrant served at two residences and a business in April, according to Sheriff Steve Cox. The Chillicothe police assisted the sheriff’s office with the execution, search and interview of several individuals.

Arrested on Friday, June 4, on Livingston County arrest warrants were Johnnie Wayne Horton, 30, Susan Lynn Horton, 36, and Randy Lon Horton, 33.

Johnnie Wayne Horton, 30, Chillicothe, was charged with alleged distribution of controlled substance (marijuana) within 2,000 feet of a public school. His bond was originally placed at $50,000 cash and remained at $50,000 after arraignment by Judge James P. Valbracht Tuesday morning. Johnnie Horton was arrested in the 900 block of Elm Street in Chillicothe.

Susan Lynn Horton, 36, Chillicothe, was charged with alleged possession with intent to distribute more than 35 grams of marijuana. Her bond was originally set and remained at $25,000 cash. She was arrested in the 600 block of Webster Street in Chillicothe.

Randy Lon Horton, 33, Chillicothe, was charged for alleged possession with intent to distribute more than 35 grams of marijuana. His bond was originally set and remained at $25,000 cash. Randy Horton was also arrested in the 600 block of Webster Street in Chillicothe.

All three were arraigned by Judge James P. Valbracht.

Additional charges may be pending. Based on the statements of probable cause filed in the case, the sheriff seeks to have the three charged with conspiracy to distribute 52 pounds or more of marijuana between April 2009 and April 2010.
