Man charged with making terror threat

Meadville man scheduled to appear in court July 8

A Meadville man arrested in Chillicothe after allegedly making a bomb threat Saturday night at a food processing plant in Trenton has been charged.

Carl Alan Devillez, 21, was arrested Sunday morning by the Trenton Police Department with assistance from the Chillicothe Police Department, at a Chillicothe home and was charged with making a terrorist threat.

Trenton Police had advised the surrounding areas that a man had made a bomb threat, causing the food processing plant to be evacuated. Chillicothe Police located Devillez in Chillicothe Sunday morning.

An ATF agent questioned Devillez, and he was then transferred to Trenton for incarceration. The interview revealed that Devillez may possess homemade explosive devices.

Devillez waived arraignment  today (Tuesday) in Grundy County Court and is scheduled to appear again in court on July 8.
