On Friday, June 13, 2008, Sheriff Steve Cox served a new Livingston County arrest warrant on Scott William Eckert, 30, of Chula, for the alleged crimes of:              
Forcible Rape-Sexual Intercourse by Forcible Compulsion-Serious Physical Injury with one person less than 12 years of age.  Unclassified Felony.
Statutory Rape 1st degree, by having sexual intercourse with a child less than 12 years of age. Unclassified Felony.
Tampering with Physical Evidence, class D felony,
Endangering the Welfare of a Child, class C felony.  (2 counts.)
Bond has initially been placed at $350,000 cash.
