A new look will be coming to the Constitution-Tribune starting next Monday as the daily newspaper shifts to a narrower format.
The overall page width will be changed from 12 inches to 11 inches, mirroring changes taking place throughout the newspaper industry. Already, many of the larger newspapers, including the Kansas City Star and the St. Joseph News-Press have made the switch to a narrower format.
Along with the size change, the Constitution-Tribune will be undergoing an overall redesign to freshen the appearance of the daily newspaper.
“The redesign will offer a more attractive newspaper and one that is that is easier to handle,” said C-T Publisher Rod Dixon. “We think people will enjoy the new look.”
Most of the existing elements of the newspaper will remain intact but may be presented in an updated format. Additionally, new features will be added. For example, there will be an area news roundup added to the news pages so that readers can stay abreast of news in surrounding towns and communities of north Missouri.........
