It is Holiday Parade week in Chillicothe.
The 63rd annual Holiday Parade, presented by the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored this year by Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe Hy-Vee and Midwest Gloves & Gear, has many entries.
“We have many wonderful parade entries this year,” commented Lindy Chapman, executive director for the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce.  “We’ve really been pleased with the number and variety entered.” 
There are some special parade entries again this year, according to Chapman, including KC Wolf, official mascot of the Kansas City Chiefs, sponsored by Coca-Cola, the Missouri Western Drum Line, sponsored by Investors National Bank; and Slugger, official mascot of the Kansas City Royals, sponsored by Pepsi Cola Bottling Company.
... The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and will include many marching bands from area schools in addition to the Chillicothe High School and Middle School marching bands. Band trophies will be awarded immediately following the parade at the stage in front of the Livingston County Courthouse.
