‘Music in the Park’ slated for Friday night

Grand River Harmony Chorus to host third session

Friday night, Aug. 7, will offer another opportunity for talented local performers to share their talent with the community. This is the third session planned for this event this year. The July session was cancelled for rain. This is the second year that the Grand River Harmony Chorus was organized and hosted this informal evening of Music in the Park.

Come to Simpson Park near the ball park at the Walnut Street entrance this Friday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. and bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the entertainment. Performers scheduled for this Friday are: Penny Kennebeck, Pianist Chad Adams, Sax player and vocalist, Lee Jones, Debbie Stimpson, and Precious Gems Quartet. The Grand River Harmony Chorus will open and close the evening’s entertainment.........
