Area residents are urged to “Treasure their Health” and attend Hedrick Medical Center’s annual health fair which is scheduled for Saturday, April 4 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Chillicothe High School gymnasium.
According to event organizers, the “Treasure Your Health” themed health fair will feature several free screenings including bone density, cholesterol, anemia, blood pressure, PSA, and vision.
Community organizations and hospital departments will also provide those in attendance information on various health topics, including diabetes, rehabilitation and ways to improve health.
Those planning on having blood work done must fast prior to attending, organizers say.
PSA screenings will be done for $18. The fee for total blood work-up is $35.
The health fair is sponsored by HMC and Saint Luke’s Health System.
Admission is free.
