MoDOT has announced that APAC-Missouri, Inc. will begin a project next Monday, June 29, to resurface 30 of the 33 miles from north of Carrollton to the beginning divided lanes at Marshall (excluding a 3- mile concrete section at the Missouri River bridge in Waverly).

The project will begin at Carrollton and move south to Marshall. Crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 6  p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as many Saturdays. During these hours, work zones will be in place and traffic restricted to one-lane, according to MoDOT Resident Engineer James Gillespie. Motorists are advised to use caution and patience during this process.

The entire 30 miles should be completed by mid-October; the work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.........
