Absentee ballots may now be voted on for the Aug. 5 primary election.
Ballots may be cast between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Livingston County clerk’s office on the second floor of the courthouse, according to County Clerk Kelly Christopher.
Absentee voting may also be done on Saturday, Aug. 2, the last Saturday before Election Day. The absentee ballots are available for voters who will be out of town and unable to go to the polls on Election Day. Disabled voters may contact the clerk’s office to make arrangements to have ballots mailed to their homes.
Christopher reminds unregistered voters that the last day to register to vote in the August primary election is Wednesday, July 9.
