Council to consider board appointments, block grant

Chillicothe City Council members will meet in regular session tonight (Monday) and consider two board appointments and a couple of other issues.

The council will consider reappointing Don Overton to the Planning and Zoning Board and Ron Krammes to the Greater Chillicothe Visitors Region Board.

The council will also consider an ordinance accepting a contract amendment with the Missouri Department of Transportation regarding the airport state block grant. City leaders will also consider providing gravel (up to $7,500) for the road to the spec building in the industrial park.

The council will also consider a temporary street closing for the Car Show Cruise Night on Friday, July 18, in downtown Chillicothe.

Tonight’s regular council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.
A workshop meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room at City Hall.

An executive session, closed to the public, will follow the regular council meeting.
