Margaret Benedict speaks about her book, “An American Entrepreneur, Joyce C. Hall, Founder of Hallmark Cards,” and about being a children’s literature author during a reception Tuesday night at Boji Stone. The reception was hosted by Operation Outreach, UMKC Center for Economic Education. During the event, Benedict signed books and the crowd enjoyed a buffet dinner. Earlier in the day, Benedict visited the Chillicothe Middle School where she talked to students about writing children’s books.
