Stet R-15 bond issue fails

Chillicothe, Mo. -
A bond issue designed to raise the operating tax levy of the Stet R-15 School District by 80-cents per $100 valuation failed yesterday (Tuesday) in Ray and Carroll Counties during a special election.
According to election officials, 145 R-15 patrons cast votes against the issue, while only 108 were in favor of it.
