The Livingston County Commission will hear from Ministerial Alliance vice president Tim Buerky tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, who will advocate for a county ordnance that would regulate adult entertainment businesses in the county.
The discussion will be held during the Livingston County Commission’s regular meeting slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission Room at the courthouse. According to Buerky, the ordinance request is in response to the possible opening of an adult entertainment business on U.S. Highway 65, just west of the new prison.
“Our effort, obviously, is to bring some kind of regulation and control to limit what can be done there,” said Buerky.
Just what the new business will offer is unknown as the party involved with the business in question declined to comment when contacted by the Constitution-Tribune.
