A five-year Chillicothe tradition becomes a new site for the bright lights of Branson.
Teresa Foli, pageant executive director and the 2002 Mrs. Missouri, stated that the pageant will be in Branson next year in March.
“It was fun to have it in my hometown,” said Foli. “I am also really excited to have it held in Branson. The city of excitement really is the perfect place for the pageant.”
The 2003 Mrs. Missouri Pageant was the first event of its kind in Chillicothe, held at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center. That year Mrs. America Heidi Dinan passed on her Mrs. Missouri crown to Tracy Perkins. Perkins, 26, who was the first runner-up in the Mrs. Missouri pageant, became the reigning Mrs. Missouri because Dinan, of O’Fallon, went on to compete in the Mrs. America Pageant and became the first Mrs. Missouri to be crowned Mrs. America in the pageant’s 27-year history................
