Charlotte Sue Lauhoff, age 83, of Ft. Madison, Iowa formerly of Mendon, died January 24, 2018 at her home after a very short battle with cancer.

Charlotte Sue Lauhoff, age 83, of Ft. Madison, Iowa formerly of Mendon, died January 24, 2018 at her home after a very short battle with cancer. She was born February 23, 1934 to Ronald and Edith (Armstrong) Truesdell. She married Leo F. Lauhoff June 4, 1953. She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Garr and husband Dick, West Point, IA; daughter-in-law Lisa Lauhoff, Cameron, MO; grandchildren Amanda O'Tool and husband Mike, West Point, IA; Joshua Garr, Burlington, IA; Aaron Garr and wife Aleena, West Point, IA; Alex Garr and fiancée Ashley Osborn, Overland Park, KS; Carly Landis and husband Jacob, Camdenton, MO; Dustin Lauhoff and wife Crystal, Wynantskill, NY; great-grandchildren Tyler O'Tool, Regan Garr, Kyra Garr, Megan Roxberg, Natalie Landis and Jude Landis. She is also survived by her brother Bob Truesdell and wife Creta, Mendon, MO, her sister Mariellen Pulliam, Vail, AZ and various cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo and son Barry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, rural Mendon with burial in the St, Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Joseph Cemetery and mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
