Eva Marie Minnis DeArmon of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Saturday Feb, 11 2018 at the Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehab facility.
Eva Marie Minnis DeArmon of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Saturday Feb, 11 2018 at the Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehab facility. Eva was 73 years 10 months. Eva was a member of Woods Memorial Christian Church. Eva was born at home at Chillicothe, Mo., on April 30, 1944 to Clyde and Edith Minnis. Eva was preceded in death by her son Jason Lee Stephens who was in the US Navy. Eva leaves behind three living daughters Tammy M Grimes of North KC and Michelle Sharp of Excelsior Springs, Mo., as well as Candice R Stephens of Excelsior Springs, three step-daughters; Margot M Scott of Excelsior Springs Mo., Amy A White of Gladstone, Mo., and Jenny R. Fish of Excelsior Springs. Eva has 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with one great grandchild due this summer. Eva is also survived by sisters; Bonny Thompson, Mary Hibner, Doris Hussey, Lucille Powers, and Carolyn McCracken. She also leaves her husband of thirty six years Barney L DeArmon of Excelsior Springs, plus many many friends. Eva enjoyed her Church family her home and travel. Eva had previously worked at Orbseal for 13 years. Eva’s visitation will be at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Excelsior Springs, Mo., on Monday February 19th at 9 a.m. with Funeral to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will follow services at the Arkadelphia Livingston County Cemetery.
