Carol Belle “Becky” Shouse

Carol Belle “Becky” Shouse, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.

Becky was born the daughter of George Russell and Jane (Schwagler) Russell in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School, Washington, Iowa. She then attended Draughon Business College in Springfield, Missouri, graduating in 1957. Becky attended North Central Missouri College working towards a degree in Early childhood Development. She was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Shouse on March 16, 1958, in La Russell, Missouri. He survives of the home. Becky worked as a preschool teacher for headstart, and she founded in the late 70’s Daydreams Daycare and Preschool with Jan Pitts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where she was very active in the choir, as well as the Philathea Class. She was a member of the Red Hatters. Becky served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved reading, crafting, gardening, and drawing.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck, of the home; one son, Russell Shouse of Cameron, Missouri; three daughters, Leslie McFadden and husband John of San Antonio, Texas, Sherry Cook and husband Jim of Overland Park, Kansas, and Robin Ragan and husband Dennis of Chillicothe, Missouri; foster children, Lori Morgan and Christie Morgan of the home; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sister, Mercy Brinning of Brighton, Iowa, and Marjy Martin of Washington, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; foster daughter, Teanya Davis; and brother-in-law, Donnie Joe Brinning.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 12 noon until 8:00p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Frank I. Jones

Frank I. Jones, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, went to be with his wife on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

Frank was born the son of Frank and Edna Claire (Karguth) Jones on February 19, 1036, in Jamesport, Missouri. He was a 1955 graduate of Jamesport High School. He served in the United States Navy, where he proudly served on the USS Sablefish Submarine. While serving in the Navy, he married the love of his life, Norma Louise Graham on July 17, 1956. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2018. After serving in the Navy, Frank and Norma returned to Chillicothe. Frank owned and operated Jones Ford Equipment, and then Jones Equipment Repair. He enjoyed working on tractors and lawn mowers, and you could usually find him at the shop. Frank was known as one of the best tractor mechanics in the area. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Frank and Norma enjoyed spending time with their family and friends, and traveling. They spent their winters in Texas, and travelled throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Younger and Terry L. Clevenger, of Chillicothe, Missouri and Vicky Davis and husband Richard of Hamilton, Missouri: two grandchildren, Ricky Davis and wife Mandi of Rich Hill, Missouri, and Misty Barclay and husband Joshua of Lawrence, Kansas; six great grandchildren, Collin, Ben, and Abigail of Rich Hill, Missouri, and Kadaan, Gavin, and Gabriella of Lawrence, Kansas; two brother, Gary Mack Jones and wife Karen of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Larry Jones and wife Karen of Wheeling, Missouri; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma; and granddaughter, Vanissa Rohrback.

Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 15, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, October 14, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, October 14, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
