Tristen Todd Roberts, 11, a resident of Mooresville, Mo., passed away at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Mo., on Monday, June 8, 2009.
Tristen was born Feb. 14, 1998, in Liberty, Mo., the son of Todd and Shelley (Hughes) Roberts.
Tristen enjoyed life and what it had to offer. He brightened anyone’s day he came in contact with. He felt comfortable with people of all ages. He had fun no matter what he was doing or who he was with. Tristen loved to have his buddies spend the night, especially Tyler and Anthony, and his best friend Lake Crowe. He loved to ride shotgun in his big brother Quinn’s new car, he thought he was cool for sure. He enjoyed fishing with his sister, Courtney. When sister, Shelby and Tristen were together one of his favorite things to do was run the barrels with his 4-wheeler like she did with her horse. He was a star student and a proud Wildcat. He loved sports, football, basketball, track, volleyball, and being the pitcher of his baseball team. He always wanted to win but was not a sore loser. He was an extreme NASCAR fan, #99 and #14. Tristen loved the outdoors, walking in the creek, hunting, fishing, especially in the river with his uncles and cousins, and swimming. He enjoyed taking care of his bucket calf for the fair and his dog, Sammy.
