Donald Rohrback, 54, a resident of Dawn, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Mo.
Donald was born on June 30, 1957 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Donald Ray Rohrback, Sr., and Juanita (Andres) Rohrback. On Feb. 15, 1993, he married Vickie Bigelow in Benton, Ark. She survives of the home.
He was a graduate of Xenia High School, Xenio, Ohio. He served in the United States Army.
He was Acting Chief of the Dawn Fire Department and he was one of the founding members of the Chillicothe Car Show. Donald worked for the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department for 20 years and Donaldson’s in Chillicothe. He was currently employed at ConAgra in Trenton, Mo.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Rohrback, Xenia, Ohio; wife, Vickie Rohrback, of the home; daughter, Vanissa Rohrback, Sarasota, Fla.; three brothers; one sister; mother-in-law, Betty Scott, Chillicothe, Mo.; brothers-in-law, Scott and Sandy Bigelow, Benton, Ark., and Neal and Renee Bigelow, Chillicothe, Mo.; and sister-in-law, Tonie and Steve Pew, Ludlow, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandmother, Evelyn Andres.
A memorial service will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo., on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 and from 8 a.m. until service time on Monday at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo.
