Kathy Lynn Silvey Dickson, 48, of Chillicothe, Mo., formerly of Carrollton, Mo., died Friday, June 27, 2008 at her home.

Kathy was born April 21, 1960 in Chillicothe, Mo., the daughter of Cecil Bernard Silvey and Bessie Fern Mills Silvey. On Oct. 9, 1991 she married Ricky Lynn Dickson, Carrollton, Mo. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2008.

Kathy attended Chillicothe schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Mo. Kathy enjoyed music and listening to Bible cassettes and listening to sermons on the radio.

She is survived by three sons, Aaron Todd and Matthew Todd, both of Holts Summit, Mo., and Jerrid Todd, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Linda Denker and husband, Gene, Chillicothe, Mo.; five brothers, Charles B. Silvey and wife Judith, Chillicothe, Mo., Bruce Murphy and wife Cheryl, Lee’s Summit, Mo., Rick Silvey, Salisbury, Mo., Bobby Dean Sayers, Breckenridge, Mo., and Roger Richardson, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ricky; a son, Eric Todd; two brothers, Larry Mills and Billy Hampton.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo. Burial will be at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Mo. A family visitation will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 from 2 p.m. until time of service.
