Phyllis D. Gwynn, 73, of Brandon, Fla., died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, S.C.
Phyllis was born March 19, 1935 in Chillicothe, Mo., the daughter of Marshall and Lida Mary (Vinson) Macklin. She married Raymond Gwynn on May 28, 1966 in Key West, Fla.
Phyllis was a baker at the Monroe County School District in Florida.
Phyllis is survived by a son, Raymond Gwynn, Brandon, Fla.; a brother, Vernon Dale Macklin, Macon, Mo.; two sisters, Ruth Jean, Blackriver Falls, Wis., and Sandra Lorick, Ladson, S.C.; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Tarrilyn Gwynn, brothers Henry and Vincent Macklin and a sister, Velma Corzette.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Coloma Cemetery, Coloma, Mo. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home, Salisbury, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
