Robert Lynn Gray, 66, of Polo, Mo., died at his home on Friday, March 5, 2010.
He was born on Nov. 21, 1943 in Caldwell County, Mo., to Lynn Adair and Virginia Lee Poor Gray. On Aug. 6, 1966 he married Fern Reva Clariday. She preceded him in death on June 11, 1984.
Mr. Gray was a member of the Church of Christ in Hamilton, Mo. He served in the Army. He was a member of the Hamilton Lakeview Golf Course. He lived his entire life in the Cowgill/Polo area.
Survivors include his two sons, Billy Gray of Kingston, Mo., and Shawn Gray of Polo, Mo.; a daughter Shelby McKee; a sister Anne Underwood of Cameron, Mo., seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and wife.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Mo., at 1 p.m. There will be a family visitation on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill, Mo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowgill Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Braymer, MO 64624.
