Ronald “Ronnie” Douglas, 65, of Linneus, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at his home.
Ronald was born April 10, 1945 in Chillicothe, Mo., son of Ernest E. Sr. and Georgia Lorene (Johnson) Douglas. On Aug. 24, 1970 he married Judy Carr in Brookfield, Mo.
Ronnie was a member of the International Brotherhood Boilermakers Union Local 83, Kansas City, Mo., and the First Christian Church of Mendon, Mo.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Judy, of the home; two step-daughters, Jan Gaunt, Linneus, Mo., Christine Massey, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; two step-sons, Randi Gaunt, S.C., and Cliff Guilford, Brookfield, Mo.; twin brother, Donald, Hale, Mo.; a special aunt; nine step-grandchildren; 15 step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ernest E. Douglas Jr., and one sister, Carol Nickell.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 at Lakeside Cemetery, Sumner, Mo., with Rev. Gail Brown officiating.
