Jimmy D. Pauley, 67, a resident of Trenton, Mo., passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Livingston Manor, Chillicothe, Mo.

Jimmy was born June 18, 1941 in Newtown, Mo., the son of Robbie and Goldie Mac Johnson Pauley. On Sept. 4, 1971 he married Karen Meyer in St. Joseph, Mo. She survives of the home.

He graduated from Newtown High School, Newtown, Mo., in 1958. He lived in Newtown and Galt, Mo., before moving to Trenton, Mo., where he also was employed by Trenton Foods before retiring.

Jimmy was a veteran of the Vietnam Era serving in the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of Galt Baptist Church, Galt, Mo.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, of the home; two daughters, Shelly Kay Porter and husband Larry, Trenton, Mo., and Karrie Louise Gaunt and husband Matt, Chillicothe, Mo.; one son, James Loy and wife Melissa, Stuttgar, Germany; two sisters, Mary Lou Brown, Trenton, Mo., and Viola Poechacker, Phoenix, Ore.; nine grandchildren, Michael Kuehler, Tasha Porter, Michael Brookman, Dakota Porter, Sydney Loy, Shane Brookman, Shawn Brookman, Janessa Gaunt, and Hannah Gaunt.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robbie Pauley, his mother, Goldie Pauley, two brothers, Bobby Pauley and Donnie Pauley and one sister, Louise Phillips.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Slater Funeral Home, Trenton, Mo., with Rev. Mitchell Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, Mo. Following Military Graveside services by Joseph L Norton Post No. 919 V.F.W. of Trenton, Mo. Family visitation will be held Wednesday, June 17 at Slater Funeral Home, Trenton, Mo., from 7 to 8 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Slater Funeral Home, Trenton, Mo.
