Gladys P. Oliver, 84, a resident of Breckenridge, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 10, 1925 in Pulaski, Mo., the daughter of Elish and Ruby (McCowan) Miller. On Aug. 5, 1950 she married William Morris Oliver in Waynesville, Mo. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2006.
She is survived by five sons, Ronald, William and George Oliver, all of Breckenridge, Mo., Paul David Oliver, Fort White, Fla., and Leslie Henson, Chillicothe, Mo.; four daughters, Lois Henson, Caney, Kan., Sharon K. Mason, Fort White, Fla., Brenda L. Durnett, Breckenridge, Mo., and Margaret Jones, St. Joseph, Mo.; 26 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, nine brothers and sisters and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be held at Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Mo., on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Mo. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Mo. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
