Cindy P. Truitt, 35, of Chillicothe, Mo., died at her home on Monday, Feb. 1, 2010.
She was born on Aug. 13, 1974, the daugher of Wilfred E. and Linda Admire Johnson, Jr., in Arlington Heights, Ill. On Sep. 24, 1994 she married Tony Truitt in Linneus, Mo. To this union one daughter, Paige Truitt was born.
Cindy worked as a bookkeeper at Community Options and Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Linneus.
Her greatest joy was being a mother to Paige.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Johnson of Chillicothe; one daughter, Paige Truitt of Chillicothe; one brother, Larry McGrew of Arkansas; two sisters, Robin Garibay of Brookfield, Mo. and Terri Brown of Indianapolis, Ind.; maternal grandparents, Howard and Louise Admire of Brookfield; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6, at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, at 1:30 p.m. There will be a family visitation on Saturday prior to the service at 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Friends may call on Friday from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Linneus. Memorial contributions may be made to Crohns Foundation of America and left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
