Do you own an animal who feels just like part of the family? Well, in case you haven’t noticed, it’s pretty cold outside, and the weather hasn’t been the greatest. If you’ve noticed that, then surely your pet has, as well. Be sure to keep an eye on pets who live outside. If it gets too cold, be sure their water isn’t frozen, and that they have at least some form of shelter from the wind and cold throughout the day and night. If not, a garage or basement makes for a nice temporary shelter, especially if you know that temperatures will be dipping into single and negative digits. We ask you to be kind to your pets, and to treat them with the dignity and repect you would another member of the family.
