In just over three weeks, Chillicothe voters will start the process of deciding who should represent them at City Hall by voting in the city’s primary election. All of the council posts but that of 3rd Ward have contests in either the primary or general election. The primary election, which will be Feb. 8, has three contests — councilman-at-large, 1st Ward, and 2nd Ward. The C-T will soon start its pre-election coverage, to give candidates in contested primary races the opportunity to share their ideas and views on a number of issues. The C-T is inviting the public to submit questions for the candidates. Questions may be dropped off at the C-T office during normal business hours, put in the drop box on the north side of the building, or e-mailed to ctnews@chillicothenews.com. Questions must be submitted no later than noon on Thursday, Jan. 20.
