- Walt Disney, Daniel Boone, George Washington Carver, Samuel Clemens and Tina Turner were among Famous Missourians portrayed by students in Ellen Gott's fourth-grade class at Central School Monday afternoon. All of the school?s fourth-grade classes participated in the Famous Missourians activity, with students spending several weeks researching their chosen individuals, developing character-appropriate costumes, writing speeches, and then giving their presentations to family members and friends.
