Hamilton unbeatens to own hoops tourney title games

The undefeated Hamilton boys' and girls' teams advanced to the championship games of their own basketball tournament with easy victories on Thursday night.
The Lady Hornets dispatched Trenton 71-21 and will play South Harrison for the title. SHHS’ Lady Bulldogs beat Lathrop 60-39 in their semi-final matchup.
The host Hornets advanced by beating the South Harrison boys 67-33 and will face Richmond in the championship game. The Spartans topped West Platte 55-42 in semifinal play Thursday.
At the Gilman City Invitational tournament, the Jamesport: Tri-County girls earned the right to play for the championship with a 32-26 victory over top-seeded North Harrison Thursday.
The Breckenridge boys will have to play for third place after suffering a 60-47 defeatto Ridgeway in that tourney.
