2025 Fair Results

CHILLICOTHE – The Livingston County Youth Fair wrapped up after a busy week. Several young agriculture enthusiasts claimed their recognition for a job well done in animal showmanship.

It was a strong showing in the poultry barn at the Livingston County Fair, with top honors spread among several exhibitors. Jase Pittman took home the title of Champion Chicken with a pullet and also claimed the coveted Best in Show award. Jonathan Sykes made his mark by earning Reserve Champion Chicken with a rooster, Champion Bantam with a pullet, Reserve Champion Bantam, Reserve Best in Show, and Champion Bantam Trio.

In the turkey division, Lilly Medlin grabbed Champion Turkey with a tom while Ethan Anderson secured Reserve Champion. Emmalyn Daley dominated the goose category, winning both Champion and Reserve Champion Goose, plus Champion Goose Trio and Reserve Goose Trio, along with Champion and Reserve Champion Chicken Trio, Champion Duck Trio, and the overall Champion Trio title.

Alyssa Harris took home Champion Duck with a drake and also earned Senior Showman honors, while Sylas Evans claimed Reserve Champion Duck. Rayanna Harris earned Reserve Champion Duck Trio and Intermediate Showman. Jonathan Sykes also walked away with Junior Showman and Reserve Champion Overall Trio.

The cured meats competition brought out some mouthwatering results. Karlie Waterman claimed the title of Grand Champion Cured Ham, with Alexis Shiflett following close behind as Reserve Champion. In the bacon category, Graham Randolph wowed the judges and took home Grand Champion Cured Bacon, while Sam Brobst earned Reserve Grand Champion honors.

The Breeding Swine Show at the Livingston County Fair brought out some top-quality hogs. In Junior Showmanship, Hadlee Beck walked away with Champion honors, with Charolette Sykes earning Reserve. Jaxon Lollar claimed Champion Intermediate Showman, while Ella Black took Reserve. Carter Rader stood out in the Senior division, capturing Champion Senior Showman. Seth Summers had a standout day in the boar ring, earning both Supreme Champion Boar and Reserve Champion Boar.

In the breeding gilt competition, Aubrie Burton took Supreme Champion Breeding Gilt with a Crossbred, while Hadlee Beck earned Reserve with a Hamp. Emma Thompson followed closely, earning 3rd Overall Breeding Gilt with a Crossbred, Chloe Wolf placed 4th Overall with a Duroc, and Aubrie Burton added another ribbon to her collection with 5th Overall Breeding Gilt on a Hamp.

The Market Swine Show at the fair was packed with tough competition and big wins for local youth. In Junior Showmanship, Hadlee Beck grabbed the Champion title, with Mia Macoubrie following as Reserve. Riggin Isaacs dominated Intermediate Showmanship, earning Champion, with Madison Wolf taking Reserve. Senior Showmanship honors went to Carson Samm, while Timothy Summers earned Reserve.

In the market classes, Jaxon Lollar came out on top with Champion Market Gilt and ultimately claimed Supreme Overall Market Hog. Riggin Isaacs had a huge day, winning Reserve Supreme Overall Market Hog with a barrow, Champion Overall Market Barrow, Reserve Champion Market Gilt, and 4th Overall Supreme Market Hog with a gilt. Carter Rader rounded out the top spots with Reserve Champion Market Barrow and 3rd Overall Supreme Market Hog.

The rabbit show at the Livingston County Fair was hopping with excitement as exhibitors showed off their top-notch rabbits. Knox Head swept the top honors, taking both Best in Show and Best 4 Class with a Mini Rex, while Damien Davis followed with Reserve 4 Class on a Standard Chinchilla. Kendall Spiwak earned Best 6 Class with a Champagne D’Argent, and Dailen Corbin took Reserve 6 Class with an English Lop.

In the meat pen competition, Alikai Walker dominated with Grand Champion Overall Meat Pen and Grand Champion Purchased Meat Pen, while Anna Pfaff claimed Reserve Overall Meat Pen and Grand Champion Home Raised Meat Pen. Levi Finley earned Reserve Champion Home Raised, and Emma Peery took Reserve Purchased Meat Pen. Showmanship winners included Alyssa Harris (Senior), Tabitha Harris (Intermediate), and Connor Finley (Junior), with Advanced Showmanship titles going to Abby Jones (Senior), Elizabeth Buttman (Intermediate), and Emmerson Campbell (Junior). Premier Exhibitor awards went to Anna Pfaff (Senior), Levi Wire (Intermediate), and Emmalyn Daley (Junior).

The sheep barn at the Livingston County Fair was packed with action as local youth competed for top honors. Eli Stephens claimed Champion Breeding Ewe, with Ben Brubaker taking Reserve. Ben also had a standout day, winning Champion Home Raised Market Lamb and finishing as Overall Grand Champion. Gregory Crouch earned Reserve in the Home Raised division.

In the Purchased Market Lamb competition, Harlee Beck took Champion while Lucas Lauhoff earned Reserve. Harlee Beck also rounded out the show with Reserve Overall Market Lamb. In showmanship, Quincy Baxter and Emmalyn Daley topped the Junior division, Lucas Lauhoff and Eli Stephens led the Intermediate group, and Ben Brubaker and Harlee Beck came out on top in Senior Showmanship.

The Goat Show at the Livingston County Fair featured a full lineup of champions. Emmalyn Daley took home Overall Champion and Reserve Champion Dairy Buck, as well as Champion and Reserve Champion Junior Dairy Doe and Senior Dairy Doe. Grace Maberry earned Overall Champion Boer Buck and Champion Yearling Boer Buck, along with Overall Reserve Champion Boer Doe and Champion Yearling Boer Doe.

Alyssa Harris claimed Overall Reserve Champion Boer Buck and Champion Junior Boer Buck, along with Champion Senior Boer Doe and Senior Goat Showmanship. Brylee Fries was named Overall Champion Boer Doe and Champion Junior Boer Doe. Emmett Jeffries took Reserve Champion Junior Boer Doe and Junior Goat Showmanship. Tymber Singer earned Reserve Champion Yearling Boer Doe and Champion Market Doe, while Owen Ireland took Reserve Champion Market Doe. Brylee Jeffries claimed Overall Champion Market Goat and Champion Market Wether. Ethan Anderson received with Overall Reserve Champion Market Goat and Market Wether. Grace Maberry won Intermediate Goat Showmanship.

The Beef Show at the Livingston County Fair brought out some outstanding cattle and competition. In the Breeding Heifer Show, Kimber Woodworth claimed Supreme Breeding Heifer, followed by Carman Woodworth as Reserve. Cambry Woodworth earned 3rd Overall, Ridge Huston took 4th Overall, and Coy Huston rounded out the top with 5th Overall Breeding Heifer. In the Beef Market Show, Kimber Woodworth grabbed Grand Champion Market Heifer, with Kadie Rounkles earning Reserve.

Ella Stephens swept the steer division with Grand Champion Purchased Steer, Grand Champion Home Raised Steer, and topped it off by winning Overall Supreme Champion Market Animal. Harlee Beck earned Reserve Overall Supreme Champion Market Animal and Reserve Champion Home Raised Steer. In showmanship, Cambry Woodworth earned Junior Champion with Coy Huston in Reserve. Intermediate Champion went to Kimber Woodworth with Ella Stephens as Reserve. Senior Champion honors went to Harlee Beck, with Carman Woodworth taking Reserve.
