William Otis Singer, 90, of Hale, Missouri died on March 29th at The Neighborhoods in Columbia, MO.
A military service will be held on Friday, April 8th, at 2:00 p.m. at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
William was born Jan. 15, 1932, to Maggie and John Singer in The Dalles, Oregon. He served in the U.S. Air Force and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He was married to Beverly Ann (Jones) Singer in 1955. He was an electrician for Modine Manufacturing Co. for over 20 years, a farmer, a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), a pilot, and a monolithic dome builder.
William was preceded in death by his wife Beverly and surviving relatives include six children and their families. Ralph Singer (Cherie) of Pilot Grove, MO.; Bruce Singer of Jefferson City, MO.; Theresa Smith (Eric) of Columbia, MO.; Mark Singer (Meire Ferreira) of Edwardsville, IL., Carol Dencker of St. Louis, MO.; Mary Wipfler (Phil) of Bloomington, IL. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren Brian, Christopher, Jerry, Brandon, Katie, Jenny, Caleb, Christina, Jessie, Ashley, Zackary, and Lindsey. His great-grandchildren include Kelsey, Kiley, Klayton, Tucker, Tanner, Tyler, Hadley, Tymber, Emma, Lincoln, and one great-great-granddaughter Kielynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
