Chula Receives GRM Community Project Grant

CHULA – GRM Networks is continuing its commitment to local progress by awarding $3,750 in Community Improvement Grants during the second round of its 2024 semiannual distribution. Grants were awarded to three organizations working to make a difference across Missouri including the Village of Blythedale, the Chula Park Committee, and the Cainsville Community Betterment program.

The Chula Park Committee received $1,200, which will go toward rebuilding a toddler play area that was damaged in an accidental fire. GRM Networks technician Stephen Lowrey presented the check to committee members Letha Graves and Lynn Roberts, who are spearheading the effort.

Applications for the next round of grants are open now through May 1. Award amounts range from $500 to $1,500, and all applications will be reviewed by the GRM Cooperative Board of Directors.
