Even though only five varsity and five junior-varsity players are usually in action in regular-season dual matches and a JV group sometimes gets to participate in tournaments, about a dozen-and-a-half Chillicothe High School students have turned out for the 2024 golf Hornets, whose returning talent is expected to lead to one of the program’s best season in over a decade. The golfers here, along with the boys’ tennis, girls’ soccer, baseball, and girls’ and boys’ track-and-field athletes and coaches were introduced, as is customary, at last Monday’s annual spring sports “Meet the Hornets” event.
