Alexander Lee Bryant, age 9, of Parkville, MO earned his Angel Wings in Heaven on February 21, 2022, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Alexander is the son of Larry and Andrea (De Roock) Bryant.
He was born December 18, 2012, in Kansas City, MO and was currently a third grade student at Graden Elementary School in Parkville. Alexander, aka “little man” and “Xander” was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer at age five and was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease at age 6. During his battles, he fought hard and was constantly worrying about the needs of others first. An extremely bright child, he was also kind and loving.
Alexander loved being outdoors. An old soul, he enjoyed camping, bonfire, gardening and most of all riding four wheelers with his dad. Somewhat of a gaming nerd, his favorite being Minecraft.
In addition to his parents Larry and Andrea, survivors include his siblings: Anna and Katelyn Lawton and Savannah and Madison Bryant; grandparents: Gerald and Betty Bryant, Gayle and Jay McGuire, Peter De Roock; and Aileen and Jerry Thompson; and a host of extended family members and close friends.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Alexander’s life on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at North Heartland Community Church, 4800 NW 88th St., Kansas City, MO 64152. Pastor Stephen Wilhoite officiating. The viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service celebrating Alexander’s life starting at 12:00 p.m.
