Elizabeth Horne, 82, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013.

Service will be held at 8:30 am, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas. Burial following at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at the funeral home.

Elizabeth was born in Saint Helens, England on Oct. 14, 1930. From 1938 until 1945 she was enduring World War II spending most of her time in bomb shelters. In 1952 Elizabeth married Curtis Horne who was stationed at Burtonwood AFB, England in the Air Force. While still stationed in England in 1953 they had their first child Margaret. They were then transferred to Aberdeen, Maryland in 1956 where their first son Kenneth was born. In 1960 Curtis was transferred to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska and in 1961 their second son Stephen was born. Elizabeth became a pastors wife in 1971 when Curtis retired from the Air Force and became a minister in the Pentecostal Church of God in Chillicothe, Mo. Elizabeth was a great support and blessing with her dedication and beautiful singing. A great number of souls found their faith in Jesus as she sang the songs of Zion. Elizabeth is greatly loved and will be missed by her husband and family.

Survivors include, husband; 3 children; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one brother.
