Renowned saxophonist and flutist Bryan Savage will perform at 3 p.m. this Sunday at Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center as part of the 2015-16 Chillicothe Area Arts Council’s season programming. Savage, a 1967 Chillicothe High School graduate, has earned a Gold Record, has performed with music greats, and has made a big name for himself in the music industry. “We are thrilled to have Bryan coming home to perform,” arts council administrator Julie Ashbrook said. “We have had many calls for tickets from friends of Bryan’s who grew up with him in Chillicothe, or who played in the CHS band with him, or who know him as a musician and have followed his career. His family is coming to town in full force, and perhaps most special of all, his high school band instructor, Frank Fendorf, is coming back to Chillicothe just for Bryan’s concert,” Ashbrook said. Tickets for the concert will be available at the door, $15 for adults and $7 for students. The box office opens at 2 p.m., and the auditorium doors will open at 2:30. Season ticket holders will be admitted with their season ticket.
