In a tie game in the middle of the third quarter last Friday, Braymer High School Bobcat Landon Baker beats a Dadeville defender to the basket on a fast break for a layup that gave BHS a 45-43 lead. Although Dadeville netted the next three points to grab its first lead of the contest, it lasted only 14 seconds and also was its only lead as the Bobcats Ð greatly aided by not only BakerÕs seven points, but also his stellar defense on DadevilleÕs top scoring threat in the fourth quarter Ð captured a 67-56 victory to reach their programÕs first-ever state-title game.
