Filing for the April 8, 2025 Municipal Election continues through the end of December, with several candidates already submitting their names to appear on the ballot.

Livingston County Health Center Board: three candidates have filed: Catherine Hamilton, Ken Lauhoff and John Zachary Parks.

In the City of Chillicothe, the following candidates are running for key positions: Amy Hess for City Clerk, Allison Jefferies for Auditor, Tom Ashbrook for Councilman At Large, Weston Baker for 2nd Ward Council, Pam Jarding for 4th Ward Council, Stacey Soper for 3rd Ward Council; and Theresa Kelly for Mayor.

For the Chillicothe Fire Protection District #1, Ed Daugherty and David Link have both filed to run for Director positions.

Livingston County Ambulance Board, Ron Beetsma has filed for an open slot.

Additionally, candidates have filed for the Chillicothe R-II School Board: Bill Hayen, Cyndy Cook Munday, Robbie Skipper and Megan Hall.

The filing period remains open until the end of December, with more candidates potentially entering the race. Voters will head to the polls on April 8 to elect representatives for these critical local positions.
