Bull Riding For our Veterans

Riding For Our Veterans is an organized group that raises money by having Bull Rides with the proceeds benefiting local veterans organizations such as the VFW, American Legion in Chillicothe, Hugs from Home of Gallatin, along with four others. Riding For Our Veterans Bull Ride was in Chillicothe Friday and Saturday night at the Litton Ag Center. This year was the seventh annual year of Riding four Our Veterans at Chillicothe. Hopefully, we see those feisty bulls next year and help out as many soldiers as we can.

Cultural Corner Art Gallery celebrates Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month Cultural Corner Art Gallery is featuring Black Artists from the area, along with others from Columba and Kansas City. The exhibit entitled “Shades of Us” will run through March 19. Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery is located at 424 Locust St., the gallery is open 1-4 p.m., Tuesday, 10 a.m., - 4 p.m., Wednesday and Friday and 1-4 p.m., Saturday.
