Busch-Valentine Visits Brookfield, Chillicothe

Trudy Busch Valentine, Democratic candidate for the United States Senate, stopped in Brookfield and Chillicothe last week as part of her RV Tour through northern Missouri. About 70 were in attendance at her Thursday evening Brookfield stop and 45 people were at her stop in Chillicothe on Friday morning which also included a tour of the Sliced Bread Innovation Center by Livingston County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas.

Call for Artists

A collection of works by area artists will begin the 2022-2023 exhibition schedule in the Dorris Rider Art Gallery at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. “Local Artists Showcase 14” will open on Aug. 23, and run through Oct. 7. Regular hours at the Rider Art Gallery are 8:30 a.m., to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as selected weekend and evening hours by appointment.
