Hedrick Medical Center recently announced the 2022 Employee of the Year. Amanda Reigelsberger, registered nurse IV in Hedrick Medical Center’s maternity department, was presented with the award at a ceremony held in her honor on February 13. Other nominees were 2022 Employee of the Quarter winners: Mandy Morton, Ashley Ewing, and Sherry Sterling.
Isaac Hand, 19, joined the countless other Missourians and Americans celebrating the Chiefs 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on February 12 during Super Bowl LVII in Glendale Arizona. Hand who is described as a “die hard Chiefs fan” photo was submitted to the Constitution-Tribune’s request for photos through our Facebook page.

Edwin Hubble expertly adjusted the instruments, bringing the view into perfect clarity. The Hooker Telescope let Edwin see galaxies where the naked eye just saw stars. It was the world’s largest telescope, housed at the Mount Wilson Observatory in California, where Edwin worked. He’d been with the observatory since 1919. It felt like home to him and became the birthplace of his greatest work and discoveries.
BLUE. More than a color, it’s an emotion and even a form of music, as well as open to being interpreted in a variety of ways. And that’s what artists from north-central and central Missouri did when they answered the call for artwork in the 2023 premiere show BLUE—the first opencall themed art show at the NOMO Art Gallery in several years.
Brookfield has been chosen as one of the locations where Missouri tour of Crossroads: Change in Rural America, an exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution will be held. The exhibit will be in Brookfield in the back of the Brookfield license office from February 4 – March 17, 2024.

Three Bishop Hogan Memorial School students are winners of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) American History Essay contest. 6th grader A.J. Warren, 7th grader Nick Radcliff, and 8th grader Kierra Williams had the winning essays for the Olive Prindell Chapter of DAR. Their entries will advance to state competition.
