CHILLICOTHE - The Chillicothe Correctional Center (CCC) Puppies for Parole (P$P) partnered with Linn County Humane Society in May 2025. Due to the success of this relationship, the Linn County Humane Society committed to donate $25 to CCC P4P for each dog adopted through the program. Angela Murrell, President of the board stopped by Chillicothe Correctional Center on September 11, 2025, to bring over a new dog for the program and presented the P4P program with a check for a $100.00 donation.
