FFA Donates to Backpack Buddies
Following the mud volleyball tournament the winning team recently the YMCA with a $1,200 check to go towards the Backpack Buddies Program. Pit sponsors for the event included: Rhodes Repairs, Pasture to Plate, Rooted Cowgirl, Sydenstricker/ Nobbe, Hutchinson & Company and T&R Soil Service.

Man Continues Contempt of Court in Criminal Case Hearings
Kelvin L. Kimler, 47, was initially arrested by the Chillicothe Police Department on or about June 8, 2022 for alleged felony Driving While Intoxicated and has been housed at Caldwell County Detention Center.

BNSF Grant Allows Roof Replacement on Edgerton Home
The Livingston County Preservation Society just closed out their first BNSF Railway Grant to help replace the roof on the old Edgerton Home at Polk and Locust Streets. Many individuals also contributed as well as Westlake Ace Hardware and Lauhoff Jewelry. We are now gearing up for the next steps: porches, cleaning out the house, and some flooring repairs. We also hope to start removing the siding on the exterior of the house; this will give us an idea of how much repair work we will need to do next year before painting. The original entrance to the home at 1003 Locust Street provides the backdrop for the picture, featuring: Rodney Mouton, Kris Daniel, Amy Dickerson, Ashley Gabrielson and Kirsten Mouton.
