Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples has approved the following road closures. Sept. 16 from 1:30-3:15 p.m., Chillicothe High School Homecoming Parade. Polk/Sunset to Polk/Washington to Washington/Ann to Ann/Locust to Locust/ Calhoun streets back to the Middle School. Pa - rade begins at 2 p.m. Sept. 17 from 8 a.m.12 p.m., Kiwanis Kids Day Parade Around the Downtown Square. Webster/Washington to Washington/Clay to Clay/Locust back to Sil - ver Moon Plaza. Parade begins at 9 a.m.

Safe at Home Program Recognizes 15 Years

The Safe at Home address confidentiality program, administered by Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft’s office, has now served over 8,000 participants since it started on August 28, 2007. The Safe at Home Program, now in its 15th year, provides a designated mailing address for participants to use in place of their home address when creating new records with government agencies and the courts.
