Gov. Cost-Share Program to Generate Economic Development through Transportation Projects

In the last legislative session, the Missouri General Assembly appropriated $75 million to the departments of transportation and economic development for the Governor’s Transportation Cost-Share Program, aiming to build partnerships with local entities to deliver road and bridge projects. Guidelines and applications for the costshare program are now available at modot.org/ governors-transportation- cost-share-program.

First-Steps on Edgerton House Renovation Complete

In case you haven’t driven by the intersection of Polk and Locust streets, there is a brand-new roof on the old 1891 Edgerton house. This was the first move in the preservation and renovation of this home by the Livingston County Preservation Society (LCPS) after its acquisition in July 2021. The work was made possible by a grant from BNSF Railway Foundation, contributions from Ace Hardware and Lauhoff Jewelry, as well as a number of private donations from individuals. Joe Buckner Construction completed the work in a trying mix of scorching heat and rain.
