AUGUST 2 12:40 a.m., Officers responded to the 1400 block of Dorney Drive for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival Officers were able to diffuse the situation and the parties involved separated for the night.

Courage2Report: Sooner Is Safer!

The Courage2ReportMO program provides a safe and confidential way to report any concerns regarding their safety or the safety of others. These concerns may include: assault, bullying/repeated harassment, cyber bullying, fighting, guns, homicide, human trafficking, knife, planned school attack, imminent school shooting, school shooting threat, sexual offense, suicide-other person (3rd party), or a terrorism threat (extremism). Those reporting their concerns may remain anonymous by not providing their name. The Patrol received 743 reports through the Courage2Report programfrom Aug. 1, 2021, through May 24, 2022.

Missouri Veterans Commission to Host Free Legal Clinic for Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney

The Missouri Veterans Commission (MVC), in conjunction with St. Joseph attorneys Emily Bauman, Jennifer McKinley and John Spencer, will be providing free legal assistance with wills and powers of attorney for local Veterans and their spouses. The event will take place on August 25, at the Law Offices of Tieman, Spencer & Hicks at 702 Felix Street, St. Joseph. The event isby appointment only and the last day to RSVP is August 19. Photography Display at Cultural Corner

Photographer Andrew Clark, Chillicothe, currently has photography on display at Cultural Corner Art Guild & Gallery, located at 424 Locust St., Chillicothe. His passion for photography began in high school when he took a basic photography class. With a Pentax camera and B/W film, he soon realized he could capture the world in a way that was uniquely his own. Through the view finder of the camera, Clark learned he was not only capturing images but also memories and emotions.

Ewigman Assigned As Troop B Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Trooper

Captain Erik A. Gottman, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces Corporal Lee C. Ewigman was as signed as a Troop B Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Trooper. Corporal Ewigman was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2008. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 19, serving the citizens of Lincoln and Pike counties. On October 1, 2011, he transferred from Troop C to Troop B, Zone 11, serving the citizens of Randolph and Monroe counties. On October 1, 2015, he transferred from Zone 11, to Zone 3, serving the citizens of Linn and Chariton counties. On June 1, 2021, he was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 3.

The True Blue Club met Wednesday, July 27, in Meadville hosted by Eudora Fitzpatrick. The hostess gift was received by Dorothy Crookshanks with game prizes going to Cheryl Maggart and Janet Meek. Cards were sent to Rita Jacobs, Jared Kehr and Terry Meek. August meeting will be a trip to Waverly.
