Chairman John J. Sastry announces a list of four inductees for the Hall of Fame’s second class. This esteemed group of Missourians will be officially inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sept. 9, at the Rieger Armory in Kirksville, at 10:30 am. Sastry noted, “What a great privilege it is to help share the stories of selfless service demonstrated by these fine Missourians. Each one comes from a unique background with their own set of military experiences, but all share one profound trait— they were committed to serving their fellow citizens as members of the Missouri National Guard.”
Ashley Myers is the newsest deputy for the Livingsrton COunty Sheriff’s Office (LCSO). Sheriff Steve Cox said, in a press release, that Myers was born in Chillicothe in 1992 and graduated from Chillicothe High in December of 2011.
Missouri Beef Industry Council has hired Sydney Thummel as the new Executive Director. Thummel will work directly with the MBIC Board of Directors and will be responsible for all operational and budgetary functions of the organization.
