CPD Reminds Public of Fireworks Ordinances

Chillicothe Police Department recently released a statement to remind the public about the fireworks ordinance and use of fireworks in the City of Chillicothe. “Each year when the fireworks stands open and begin selling fireworks, the police department begins receiving numerous calls of citizens shooting fireworks prior to the allowed dates and times,” the press reads.

July 4 Closures The following businesses and government offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Closures include: Chillicothe License Office, city and county offices, Livingston County Health Office, Lilliam DeMaris Youth Library, Livingston County Library, all state offices and the Constitution-Tribune.
